Chef Giuseppe Musso

From Italy to California

MY STORY TOLD THROUGH FOOD

Giuseppe comes from a family of nine children (all boys) in a city of northern Italy called Rimini. As a young boy, he enjoyed cooking with his mother who taught him quintessential Italian hoe cooking. At the age of 13, he became a sous-chef at Le Terazzi while attending culinary schools including Aurelio Saffi in Forli, Scuola Alberghiera in Bologna, and Scuola Alberhieria in Costrocaro. He worked as a chef at the famous Negresco Hotel in Nice, France for several years before going back to Italy to work as a chef in Rimini. After several years of traveling and learning different cultures and cuisines he settled in Los Angeles. He started as a sous-chef at Eurochow and after proving his culinary skills and creative talents he became the Executive Chef. He has now brought his extensive knowledge and creative talents to head the kitchen as Executive Chef at Michael’s Downtown in Long Beach, CA.
